Thanks to the generous support of the Wings of Hope Foundation, we are offering a special series of creative workshops for people who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The workshops are designed to let you:

  • Explore your creativity
  • Learn new skills
  • Express your emotions
  • Get a new perspective
  • Take a break from your worries
  • Celebrate Life
  • Or whatever the moment brings!

Each workshop will be taught by a highly qualified professional instructor (a writer, dancer, artist, musician, storyteller, or craftsperson) who has taught in medical settings before; and each will have a co-facilitator who is a professional counselor with experience working with people facing cancer. These experts will work together to support you as you explore your creativity and express who you are.
For you if…

You have had a diagnosis of breast cancer (any stage, in treatment or not)
You would like to explore creativity with others “who understand”

Beginners Welcome!

Please call 403-521-3369 for more information or to register for the workshops!

FIND YOUR MUSIC Workshop

Using music intentionally can change people’s lives. What if we could do more with music? What would happen if we made a small perspective shift and brought music more consciously into the foreground? What benefits could we anticipate in our mood, our level of stress, and our view on those around us?
This seminar will help you find your music so you can reach your goals. You will discover your listening habits, your music preferences, and your life’s soundtrack—and why it is important that you do. This workshop was led by Jennifer Buchanan, a talented music therapist.

Future Workshops:

  • Music
  • Visual Arts (painting, sketching)
  • Quilting
  • Drumming
  • Writing
  • Dancing
